David Hobbs, Minister of Music


David attended Montgomery County Community College and Eastern University where he earned his BA in Music.

He has served as Music Minister and soloist/section leader at area churches: soloist and section leader at Good Samaritan, Paoli for 2 years; Music Director at Trinity Lutheran Church for 5 years; cantor & section leader at Our Mother of Consolation for 3 years; Director of Music Ministry at Lower Providence Presbyterian Church for 5 years; here he directed the Chancel Choir, and various youth chorales ranging in grades 2nd-high school as well as two handbell groups—2-octaves and 3-octaves; currently bass section leader at Holy Trinity

Additional music positions include: Valley Forge Chorale as soloist and section leader, currently; Bel Canto Lyric Opera Company currently for 11 years, performing in the chorus, as featured artist and orchestral arranger and assistant conductor; soloist, composer and section leader for the Choristers of Upper Dublin; serving as professional adjudicator for Christian Schools International; formerly as Music Director of the Meadowood Chorale for 2 years.

David’s resume includes additional positions at the Buxmont Academy, Calvary Presbyterian Church, the Montgomery County Festival Orchestra and Chorus, Lower Moreland High School Handbell Choir.

Charles L. de Mets, Minister of Music

Charlie attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.

Charlie’s church experience includes: Trinity UCC Reformed Church, Collegeville as Chancel Choir Director/Organist –2 years/current; Trinity Episcopal church, 1 year as organist; Jenkintown United Methodist Church interim organist for 1 year; Addisville Reformed Church Organist and Music Director  for contemporary service 12 years; Pebble Hill Interfaith Church 10 years.

Other music experience includes: Bel Canto Lyric Opera Company pianist/accompanist 2 years/current; Centennial Singers, Warminster—3 years to present; Jenkintown Music Theater—20 years as pianist/accompanist; and many other theater opportunities.

Rosalie Jerrehian, Children's Choir Director

Rosalie earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education Degrees as a piano performance major at West Chester University. Intrigued by Franz Liszt and his Hungarian Rhapsodies, Rosalie's degree-qualifying performance was a full recital showcasing Liszt's work. Rosalie spent her entire teaching career at the Colonial School District in New Castle, DE. She staged musical shows for the public several times a year featuring her elementary school children. Currently, Rosalie sings in the Holy Trinity Chancel Choir, plays in the Handbell Choir, and directs the Children's Choir. Rosalie also performs as a flutist with the West Chester Concert Band , and is often called upon to play piano for social functions in the community. Her hobbies include crafts, gardening, and baking.
